The
Board of Directors is headed by the Chairman Mr. Suketu V. Shah. Mr. S. V.
Shah is an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is the President and Director
of Mukund Ltd. – India’s largest producer of speciality stainless
and alloy steel serving both the domestic and international market. He is
the Promoter-Director of Hospet Steels Ltd. – joint venture of Mukund
and Kalyani. He is also the Promoter - Director of Metro Dairy Ltd., Kolkata
– India’s most modern dairy liquid milk and ice creams. Earlier
he worked in USA in American Express Bank and the World Bank affiliate, International
Finance Corporation. In addition to the above he is also the Chairman of the
Alloy Steel Producers Association of India and Ex-chairman of CII (Western
region). He is a member of young Presidents organisation (YPO), worldwide.
He is also on the board of several other companies such as UTV, NFDC (National
Film Development Corporation Ltd).
MANAGEMENT
Mr. Mihir Dasgupta,
CEO, has experience of over 35 years in pharmaceutical marketing. He was
earlier with the Indian affiliate of Wallace Pharmaceuticals, USA and in
the Chowgule group of Industries. Mr. Dasgupta thus brings a pragmatic blend
of multinational vision and Indian scenario.
SALES TEAM
The Company
has a 200 strong sales team comprising professionally trained Medical Service
Representatives who regularly contact over 40,000 doctors. The team is backed
by District Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers,
Country Sales Manager and General Manager (Sales and Marketing).
Members of
the sales team are located in various parts of India. Periodic and regular
visits are also made to premier medical institutions.
Mr.
T. V. Venkitachalam, Finance Controller, is an Associate Member of the Institute
of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He has 35 years experience in Finance
and Accounts. He has worked for Standard Batteries, Glaxo, Trivandrum Rubber
Works, and Industrial Finance Corporation of India and ACC Babcock in various
senior positions.
Mr.
Biplab Chandra Basu, General Manager – Sales and Marketing, started
off his career as a Medical representative with Franco India, joined Burroughs
Wellcome and later held the position of General Sales Manager, Sales and Sales
Planning. Mr. Basu’s seasoned expertise encompasses excellent networking
with the medical fraternity, the Trade as well as the field force.
