Arden
Plus, an Ibuprofen-paracetamol preparation, has strong analgesic,
anti-inflammatory properties. Arden Plus is specially buffered
with an antacid, since non-selective NSAIDs like meloxicam, piroxicam or ibuprofen
do offer relief from pain but cause damage to the gastric lining leading to
severe gastric erosions, ulcerations and bleeding.
Arden Plus contains Magnesium trisilicate,
an antacid to relieve possibly occurring symptom of acidity. Hence there
is no need to prescribe a separate antacid with Arden Plus.
Arden Plus is film-coated and does not
leave any bitter after-taste.
